Four long years after the release of their acclaimed album 'Illuminati', Dutch black/death metal icons God Dethroned announce their new offering, 'The Judas Paradox', out September 6, 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music.
The first single from their new album is now available and is called 'Rat Kingdom' and you can listen to it below.
“This song is about the Vatican and the many secrets that are kept there, away from the eyes of the world. And the speaker will disappear into the shadows. Musically, it is a song that begins with a lot of classic melody lines that make it both a bombastic anthem, followed by an explosion of fury with a black metal vibe and Serpent King's own style of guitar solo, one that “stands out from the masses and pays tribute to the late Jeff Hanneman.”
