Ghost releases new song, 'The Future is A Foreign Land'

Yesterday, Ghost premiered its first film worldwide, 'Rite Here Rite Now', which you can still see today and tomorrow, June 22, on Cinepolis theaters in Mexico.

Taking advantage of the enormous hype that the film has generated, the Swedes have released a new song called 'The Future Is A Foreign Land' which within the plot was one of the three songs that Papa recorded Nihilwhen he fronted the band in the late '60s.

“The message is that a big lesson is lost if you look at what is happening in the world now and what brought us here… If you are lucky enough to experience this movie in the theater, it will be great. You are one of the lucky ones and you should enjoy life, embrace it and do everything in your power to make life better for yourself and everyone you know, but remember the cost that humanity had to pay in the last 55 years to reach here. The kind of shit we put ourselves through fighting for what we think is a better world is meant to make you feel grateful in some way that you can laugh at certain things and be at a fictional rock concert in this world,” says Tobias Forge .

The soundtrack for 'Rite Here Rite Now' will be available starting July 26 through Loma Vista Recordings and will include the 18 tracks that appear on the tape, recorded during the band's show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.
