The first trailer has been released for the documentary ‘This Was My Life: Nick Menza’s Metal Memories With Megadeth And Beyond‘, a documentary that follows the life and career of legendary Megadeth drummer Nick Menza until his death in 2016.
The documentary was produced by Screaming Butterfly Entertainment, Ellefson Films and BayView Entertainment.
Two launch screenings have been confirmed for the film, the first on April 10 at the Laemmle Royal Theatre in Los Angeles and a second event on April 17 at the Hawthorne Theatre in New Jersey.
“It’s a very emotional story. Nick’s sister, Donia, who is sort of an ambassador for everything about Nick in terms of his career and his professional life in the past… I mean, she’s his sister, so she’s really passionate about this movie and keeping Nick’s story alive. As she said, it’s her way of staying connected to Nick, since he left the planet too soon,” says David Ellefson.
