Atreyu is back in the game with ‘The Pronoia Sessions’, a unique album that helps them take a look back at their already extensive career, taking some of their most iconic songs and giving them new life, under a different vision.
“We’re a band that never writes the same song twice,” guitarist Porter McKnight tells Summa Inferno, “We’re always trying to push the boundaries and take risks to create new things. The Pronoia Sessions was an interesting experiment for us; not just covering Tom Petty or Audioslave songs, but mostly our own. Being able to reimagine these songs, look at them in a different way but still keep that connection to their original form.”
