Deftones have partnered with GOAL Projects to launch a special collaboration: limited-edition soccer jerseys designed to support a youth street-soccer team in their hometown. The initiative benefits Los Jaguares, a youth squad based in Oak Park, Sacramento — the neighborhood where the band originated.
The project aims to provide real opportunities for young people in an underserved community, funding equipment, facilities, training, and free access to sport. Proceeds from the jersey sales will help ensure that soccer remains accessible and inclusive for children and teenagers who might not otherwise have the chance.
Each jersey costs $90 USD and the ball costs $50 USD. You can purchase them at: https://goalprojects.goal.com/
Designed by Deftones themselves, the jerseys reflect the band’s commitment to giving back. They acknowledge that both music and sport can offer paths to unity, hope and personal growth. Through this collaboration, the band hopes to promote values of solidarity, community, and opportunity for those who need it most.
Beyond being merchandise, the initiative is a statement about social responsibility and grassroots support. In a context where many youths lack recreational or meaningful community outlets, providing access to sport can foster belonging, discipline and a sense of hope.
