Cruachan has presented its new single 'Talamh', its second contender song to represent Ireland in Eurovision and raise awareness of the growing Irish folk-metal genre. On May 7, the contest will reveal who will represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest.
“We thought it would be an adventure if it happened, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. No matter as we have two unique Cruachan songs to share with our fans as we write album number ten, last year 'The Blacksmith' and now 'Talamh' was written as if Ireland itself had a voice and spoke of its tumultuous history . It is an upbeat song, on the one hand sad and on the other, hopeful. It will always represent a 'what if' for us and here we share it now with our fans," says Keith Fay.
