Chelsea Wolfe announced a new EP called UNDONE, which will be released on August 30via Loma Vista, with remixes from ††† (Crosses), Full of Hell, Justin K Broadrick (Godflesh), Boy Harsher and more.
Last month, Chelsea Wolfe debuted Boy Harsher's remix of “House of Self-Undoing,” “[preserving] the subtle sadness contained in Wolfe's voice, giving the whole thing a sense of melancholic languor” (FADER). And today, Chelsea Wolfe surprise releases “Tunnel Lights (††† Remix)”. Featuring vocals from Chino Moreno (††† / Deftones), “Tunnel Lights (††† Remix)” turns the “dramatic, crashing trip-hop tune” (Revolver) into a haunting duet with Shaun’s industrial beats Lopez, who bring a new intensity to the track.
“She Reaches Out seemed like the perfect album to have official remixes, since it's so heavily themed around transformation,” Wolfe says. “I called on some artists I really respect to expand the sonic universe we created with Dave Sitek and it's been a real pleasure and delight to hear each song come back transformed!”
