It's official: Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds has left the band. The information was confirmed via a statement posted on the band's official social media.
“Friends and fans, after 25 monumental years together, Mastodon and Brent Hinds are parting ways by mutual agreement. We are deeply proud and grateful for the music and history we share and wish him every success and happiness in his future endeavors. We remain very inspired and excited to show our fans the next chapter of Mastodon. All touring plans for 2025 remain intact and we look forward to seeing you on the road.”
