Blades of Steel releases “Riders of the Night” featuring Prika Amaral of Nervosa

Blades of Steel teams up with Nervosa’s Prika Amaral for Riders of the Night, a heavy metal anthem celebrating female empowerment.

Brazilian heavy metal rising force Blades of Steel has unleashed their latest single Riders of the Night, accompanied by a powerful new video. The track features the guest appearance of Prika Amaral, current vocalist and guitarist of Nervosa, bringing her unique strength and presence to the band’s anthem of empowerment.

Following their acclaimed self-titled debut Blades of Steel (2025), this single previews the band’s second album, due next year. Produced by Val Santos (Viper), the track delivers a fuller, sharper sound with riffs at its core. Guitarist Jonas Soares revealed that the composition draws from Accept and Bass Digger, merging classical passages with emotional vocal lines and culminating in a thunderous chorus, before shifting into an ‘80s-inspired thrash section reminiscent of Sodom and Destruction, alongside layered guitars paying tribute to Judas Priest.

Beyond the music, Blades of Steel continues to highlight female empowerment in a male-dominated scene. Frontwoman and founder Yara Haag explained: “I wanted to create something heartfelt, something that captured Prika’s essence: a fearless biker who faces the world with courage to pursue her dreams. This song was born as a tribute.”

For Prika Amaral, the collaboration is also deeply personal: “Becoming a vocalist has been a new journey for me. This track gave me the opportunity to explore new vocal styles and create alongside a dear friend. And on top of that, the song is about one of my greatest passions: riding motorcycles!”
