Beyond the Black releases “Ravens”, an emotional new single from Break the Silence

Beyond the Black unveils “Ravens,” an anthem of unity and resilience ahead of their upcoming album Break the Silence, arriving January 9, 2026.

Symphonic metal powerhouse Beyond the Black has released “Ravens,” the fifth single from their highly anticipated studio album Break the Silence, due January 9, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records. The song stands out as one of the album’s most emotionally charged compositions, reflecting the project’s central themes of communication, human connection and inner strength.

Built around the symbolic image of ravens soaring together, the track explores unity, loyalty and shared resilience. Both the song and its official video feature contributions from Beyond the Black’s fans, reinforcing the album’s recurring message that breaking through interpersonal barriers and forging genuine connection is essential in today’s divided world.

Vocalist Jennifer Haben explained that “Ravens” embodies the feeling of belonging and finding light in others when everything seems disconnected. Hearing fans’ voices integrated into the track brought that message to life in what she describes as “the most beautiful way.” The band offered heartfelt thanks to their community, acknowledging that the song was created with them at its core.

Break the Silence, the band’s sixth full-length record, is a conceptual album rooted in melodic metal with ethnic influences. It explores how words —and the lack of them— shape emotional landscapes and collective experiences. Tracks such as “Let There Be Rain,” “(La Vie Est Un) Cinéma,” “Ravens” and “The Flood” create a multi-layered journey that captures the urgency of reconnecting in a fractured world. With this release, Beyond the Black invites listeners into one of their most immersive and personal musical chapters yet.
