Speaking merely of those freelancers, that is, they work on their own, without labels, millionaire contracts, and all those comforts that fame can one day bring, I want you to know that it is quite an odyssey. From getting a booking agent, having the capital to cover your own expenses and contingencies, having the time to be able to get out of your routine and make the trip, invest in merchandise to get "something" out of it, etc.
The reality is that touring life when you're not a rockstar is nothing like MTV painted it. Here on earth, bands must put a lot of effort, time and above all money to be able to make their music cross borders, not only digitally, but live and in full color.
