Babymetal mark their 15th anniversary with “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! 15th Night Ver.” video and ultra-limited physical editions

BABYMETAL release the “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! 15th Night Ver.” music video for their 15th anniversary, confirming a super-limited CD, a Tokyo pop-up, and merch capped at just 15 items.

BABYMETAL have commemorated their 15th anniversary by unveiling the “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! 15th Night Ver.” music video, a newly presented version of one of the songs that helped define their rise and their mythology-driven live identity. The video premiere is set for today, January 5, 2026, on the band’s official channel, turning the milestone into a focused anniversary event rather than a simple catalog reissue.

Alongside the video, BABYMETAL confirmed a “super-limited” physical release: the “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! 15th Night Ver.” CD, priced at ¥1,500 (tax included), with a one-per-transaction purchase limit. Initial availability is tied to in-person locations: the “BABYMETAL FIRST EVER POP-UP IN TOKYO” at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA starting January 7, 2026, and the merchandise booths for the special arena shows “LEGEND – METAL FORTH” at Saitama Super Arena on January 10–11, 2026. Online sales have not been confirmed at this time.

Each CD purchase includes one randomly inserted postcard (three designs total). There is also a collector’s chase item built into the bonus system: the “THE CHOSEN 15 Card,” a 15th-anniversary special card limited to just 15 units in total across both the Tokyo pop-up and the Saitama arena dates—an intentionally rare artifact aimed at devoted collectors.

The anniversary campaign escalates further with a merch centerpiece: the “15th Night Studded Battle Long Jacket,” featuring studded details and the same design as the costumes worn in the new video. This jacket will be sold via lottery and is strictly limited to 15 pieces total (size M), priced at ¥150,000 (tax included). Applications run from January 5 (3:15 p.m.) through January 13 (11:59 p.m.), winners are announced by January 14, the purchase window runs January 14–25, and shipping is scheduled for mid-March. The jacket is also set to be displayed at the pop-up store.

The Tokyo pop-up itself is positioned as a major anniversary hub, opening January 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and running January 8–13 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (closing at 8:00 p.m. on the final day). With a new video, a highly restricted CD, ultra-rare bonuses, and merch limited to a symbolic “15,” BABYMETAL are framing this “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!” anniversary as a full-scale collector and fan experience.
