BABYMETAL releases “My Queen” feat. Spiritbox

BABYMETAL drops the “My Queen” video with Spiritbox, featuring Su‑metal, Moametal, and Momometal—an avant-garde audiovisual statement with raw power and artistry.

BABYMETAL has unveiled the official video for “My Queen,” a powerful, atmospheric collaboration with Spiritbox that highlights the current lineup—Su‑metal, Moametal, and Momometal. This visual release underscores the band's evolution into a fully established trio following Momometal's formal addition in 2023.

The single blends the emotive vocals of Su‑metal and Moametal with the progressive intensity of Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante. It results in a sonic landscape that is at once technical, atmospheric, and deeply expressive—a collision of softness and power.

Visually, the video is imbued with ritualistic symbolism and enigmatic aesthetics. Through scenes combining futuristic motifs, ceremonial attire, and precise choreography, BABYMETAL conjures an on-stage world where Eastern minimalism intersects with dystopian flair, creating a striking narrative of visual tension.

This release forms part of their latest album, Metal Forth, an ambitious project built on global collaborations. In addition to Spiritbox, the album features contributions from Poppy, Tom Morello, Bloodywood, and Polyphia—crafting a broad artistic statement linking Japanese metal with diverse modern influences.

“My Queen” signifies a matured creative identity for BABYMETAL. It proves that the band, now a confident trio, can command the audiovisual realm, redefine genre boundaries, and further solidify their place in contemporary metal history.
