Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack has announced the launch of his new imprint, Knives and Pens Publishing, in collaboration with celebrated indie publisher Rare Bird. The initiative aims to redefine the landscape of horror fiction by combining nostalgia from the genre’s golden age with a fresh, modern approach to storytelling. The imprint will focus on high-quality horror-themed novellas that breathe new life into public domain stories and characters, as well as feature original narratives.
New titles will be released quarterly, and all 2025 titles are now available for pre-order. The main release, The First Vampire, is available for pre-order in both paperback and a special signed edition, and will be available in bookstores in April 2025.
