Today, shoegaze/indie band Alcest releases their new song, ‘Flamme Jumelle’. Their next studio album, “Les Chants De L’Aurore”, will be released on June 21, through Nuclear Blast Records.

“Despite being more accessible, this song is the most personal on the album for me. ‘Flamme Jumelle’, what Twin Flame means, is about loss in general, and the difficulty of moving forward feeling the absence of someone you loved deeply. It can be a partner, a family member or a friend. On a more spiritual level, the title refers to the possibility that certain souls are connected in this life and also hereafter, and that separation that exists is only temporary, and a mortal concept.”
