French band Novelists have released the official video for their new single, 'Okapi', which you can watch below. The clip was directed by the same band and Seppe Germaux.
“Okapi was written throughout 2023 and early 2024; It is a very important song for us as a band and as individuals, as it was written through many changes and doubts that happen in each of our lives. From moving to a different city to breakups, death and illness in our families, etc. A lot has happened in our personal lives in just a few months and for those reasons, it took us longer to finish the song than we originally anticipated, but now we reflect. On that, I'm happy we took the time we needed; the song ended up even better and more meaningful,” the band says.
Novelists are currently touring the United States with ERRA. Tour dates include performances in major cities across North America, with upcoming shows in Los Angeles, Denver, New York, Toronto and Montreal.
