Florian Schneider, known to have been one of the two founding members of the German legend Kraftwerk has passed away after a long fight against cancer at the age of 73. The information was confirmed by the musician's family and producer Mark Reeder.
Florian founded Kraftwerk in 1970 alongside Ralf Hütter whom he met while studying at the Academy of Arts in Remscheid. Scheinder remained all his life in Kraftwerk until his departure in 2008 due to a ridiculous dispute over a bicycle bomb. His place was taken by Stefan Pfaffe.
Rest in peace.
