High dose of death metal from Vomitory for Guadalajara

After a five-year Vomitory musical break, one of the parents of death metal decided to meet and celebrate 30 years of career that fortunately for Mexicans, touched Aztec lands; CDMX, Monterrey, Querétaro and Guadalajara were able to enjoy high doses of extreme metal.

It was last September 20 when the C3 Stage served as the ceremonial temple in which long hairs did not cease to headbang relentlessly and it was not for nothing, a cult group was before their eyes.

The Swedes' presentation took place within the framework of the Metal Shot Fest organized by ACK Promote + Sound & Noise and in which the bands Vulgar Addiction, Gore and carnage, Ectoplasma, Betray Me, Dance now bitch and Infective Simphony will also participate. It is well known that the bulk of the population rarely gets to see the first bands of a long day and this time was no exception since until minutes before the Scandinavian show, attendance did not exceed a handful of people, who wore receptive to local talent, but so far.

After 23 hours and after the same musicians finished tuning their instruments -who says extreme metal is glamorous- Erik Rundqvist, Urban Gustafsson, Peter Östlund and Tobias Gustafsson released crushing pieces like "The Voyage", "Gore Apocalypse" and "Ripe Cadavers" before already close to 400 people.

Vomitory, arose in the early nineties from the hand of bassist Ronnie Olson and Urban Gustafsson, over time the band would mutate members, thus Gustafsson being the only original member of the band today. "Guadalajara, it's great to be here, they want to hear something heavy," exclaimed Urban, to make way for the dense "Revelation Nausea" where gutturals tore the throat of more than one.

Suddenly, as a divine mandate, the forum split in half and began the sweet dance filled with brotherhood where all the aggressiveness of the week is unleashed. Elbows in front converge, dancing in circles, while giving shoves and an occasional kick to the neighbor, yes, if someone collapses, immediately the ritual stops, the fallen person is raised, it is verified that he is well and continues with the celebration.
"Rotting Hill" continues, followed by "Serpents" and the evening becomes an adult, but not before a powerful sonic dose by "Terrorize, Brutalize, Sodomize" and "Primal Massacre". Vomitory leaves the stage and without doing much to beg returns to the stage to say goodbye with "Raped in Their Own Blood"
Perhaps few had asked for his concert, but tonight, it was made clear that death metal has a faithful, knowledgeable, and solid Guadalajara fan base that expects more nights like this to be repeated in the city.
