The German band released a 30-second teaser on September 14, offering the first official glimpse of the professionally filmed project captured across their three Mexico City concerts in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The preview is brief, but it marks the first public footage issued by the band from a release Mexican fans have been anticipating since the nights of October 1, 2 and 4, 2022. The first two shows had endured an unusually long road to the stage: originally scheduled for September 2020, they were postponed first to 2021 and then again to 2022 because of the pandemic. Demand eventually prompted the addition of a third date on October 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">When Rammstein finally arrived, all three nights were sold out. Pollstar reported 193,990 tickets sold across the run, with a reported capacity of 64,633 per performance. The three shows grossed more than $12.4 million, closing a North American stadium run that had taken the band\u2019s enormous production through the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The project then remained largely out of public view for several years. One of the first concrete signs arrived in May 2026, when German film-rating organization FSK listed a production titled Rammstein Live in Mexico City directed by Paul Dugdale. One version was listed with an approximate 148-minute runtime and a 12+ classification. Dugdale has built an extensive career directing large-scale concert films for artists including The Rolling Stones, Adele and Coldplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">It will also represent the band\u2019s first major live audiovisual document since Rammstein: Paris, released in 2017 and filmed during the Made in Germany era.
