The record will arrive on September 25, 2026, through Mom + Pop Music, featuring appearances by Serj Tankian, Kneecap and Beartooth, as well as significant creative contributions from his teenage son, Roman Morello.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The announcement arrives alongside \u201cDate Night,\u201d a song inspired by Truus Oversteegen, Freddie Oversteegen and Hannie Schaft, three young women who participated in the Dutch resistance during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The album extends the relationship between music and activism that has defined Morello\u2019s work since Rage Against the Machine, while returning to an openly rock-oriented instrumental approach. I make anti-fascist songs for anti-fascists. And I make anti-Nazi songs for anti-Nazis. \u2018Date Night\u2019 is really a \u2018which side are you on?\u2019 song. If any of that offends you, do the math. Oh, and Roman Morello wrote the killer riff in this tune.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Everyone Gets Everything They Want is being presented as Morello\u2019s first solo rock album under his own name, an important distinction within a career that already includes substantial work outside his principal bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">As The Nightwatchman, Morello released records centered on acoustic guitar, protest songs and politically driven folk music. He later used The Atlas Underground and its companion releases to combine rock, hip-hop and electronic production through an extensive group of guest vocalists, producers and instrumentalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new album will move directly toward the language that established Morello as one of contemporary guitar\u2019s most recognizable figures: heavy riffs, effects treated as compositional devices, solos that imitate electronic sounds and arrangements that place the guitar in unconventional roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading translation-block\">Power To The People Will Unite Music and Activism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Following the album\u2019s release, Morello will present Power To The People, a one-day festival scheduled for October 3, 2026, at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The event will feature Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Joan Baez, Public Enemy, Dropkick Murphys, Killer Mike, Brittany Howard, Serj Tankian, Taylor Momsen, The Linda Lindas, Darryl \u201cDMC\u201d McDaniels, Matt Cameron and other guests. Bruce Springsteen will appear as a special guest, while Shepard Fairey will perform a DJ set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The festival will also involve organizations working in voter access, civic participation, mutual aid and community action.
