Jennifer Finch, bassist, photographer, and multidisciplinary artist for L7, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer, the band has announced. She is currently undergoing treatment and, because of her condition, will not participate in the U.S. leg of The Last Hurrah Tour, the band's farewell tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the band's official statement, what initially appeared to be a condition that could be treated with a full course of radiation progressed rapidly. Unexpected complications required Finch to undergo multiple surgeries, leaving her with significant physical limitations. She now requires ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and professional in-home assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In response, Jennifer's family, friends, and longtime collaborators have launched an official GoFundMe campaign to help cover the substantial costs associated with her treatment and recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although Jennifer Finch will be unable to perform on the band's upcoming U.S. dates in the fall of 2026, she personally asked her bandmates to continue with the tour as planned, a request L7 has chosen to honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For those performances, Tsuzumi Okai, who previously served as a touring bassist for Limp Bizkit in 2018, will step in as Finch's temporary replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year, L7 announced The Last Hurrah Tour, the first leg of the band's final world tour. The U.S. run begins on October 9 and includes stops in New York City, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Chicago, Seattle, before concluding with a hometown performance in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
