The iconic throne used by Ozzy Osbourne during the historic \u201cBack To The Beginning\u201d concert will become one of the centerpiece attractions of the \u201cOzzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero\u201d exhibition at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The addition coincides with the first anniversary of Ozzy's final concert and commemorations related to his passing. Visitors will be able to view the throne beginning July 1, 2026, expanding an exhibition that has already become one of the museum's most successful attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Originally built for Ozzy's induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2024, the throne took on special significance after appearing during his solo performance and BLACK SABBATH's final concert on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Designed with a gothic aesthetic and numerous references to Ozzy's career, the throne incorporates details connected to the imagery that accompanied the singer throughout decades of heavy metal history. Among its most recognizable features are bat-inspired motifs closely associated with Ozzy's legendary status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The exhibition also includes a wide collection of personal memorabilia, historic photographs, awards and artifacts documenting the artist's journey from his upbringing in Aston, Birmingham, to becoming one of the most influential and recognizable figures in rock music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organized by Central BID Birmingham and the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in collaboration with the Osbourne family, the exhibition has attracted remarkable attention since opening in June 2025. Due to overwhelming demand, it has been extended twice and welcomed more than 640,000 visitors, making it one of the city's most successful cultural events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The exhibition will remain open through September 27, 2026, allowing thousands of fans to continue exploring the artistic and cultural legacy of one of Birmingham's most famous sons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
