This Friday, the M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce drummer officially released the music video for \u201cStupid World\u201d, a brand-new track featured on \u201cTommyland Rides Again\u201d, the newly reimagined version of his solo album Tommyland: The Ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">More than a simple reissue, the project works as a full reinterpretation of the original 2005 album. Tommy remixed the material alongside Smiley Sean using immersive Dolby Atmos technology inside his own certified studio, aiming to give the record a far more modern and expansive sound than what was possible two decades ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u201cStupid World\u201d features alternative rock musician and former professional skateboarder Chad Tepper, who has built a strong presence within the modern alternative scene over the last few years. The collaboration actually feels pretty natural considering Tepper released the song \u201cRockstar Dreams Like Tommy Lee\u201d back in 2023, directly inspired by the legendary drummer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe class=\"zeen-lazy-load-base zeen-lazy-load\" title=\"Tommy Lee - Stupid World (feat. When the album originally came out in 2005, it served almost as a companion piece to Tommy\u2019s autobiography and NBC reality series \u201cTommy Lee Goes To College\u201d, revealing a much more experimental side of the musician far removed from the classic M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">At the time, the album surprised fans by blending rock, punk, electronic music and pop while featuring unexpected guest appearances from artists like Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, Joel Madden of Good Charlotte and Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Tommy, the goal of this new edition was never just to remaster the album, but to finally make it sound the way he always imagined it should. \u201cThe cover art invites you to take a ride inside my twisted musical world and experience its new life after 20 years.
