Madball will officially return to Mexico in 2026 with a new tour further reinforcing the historic connection between New York hardcore and Mexican audiences. The band led by Freddy Cricien confirmed three Mexican dates as part of its upcoming Latin American run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tour begins on May 29 in Monterrey at Venue 867, continues on May 30 in Guadalajara at Foro Boletom\u00f3vil, and concludes on May 31 in Mexico City with a performance at El Foro 1869.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With more than three decades of history, MADBALL remain one of the most influential and respected bands in hardcore history. Originally formed in the late 1980s as a side-related project connected to Agnostic Front, the band eventually evolved into a defining institution of the NYHC movement through landmark albums such as Set It Off, Demonstrating My Style, Hold It Down and Legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The band initially emerged when a very young Freddy Cricien began appearing at Agnostic Front performances alongside his half-brother Roger Miret. What started almost as a more aggressive extension of classic hardcore eventually developed into its own identity, defined by crushing riffs, devastating breakdowns and lyrics deeply connected to urban survival, loyalty and New York street culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout the years, MADBALL became one of hardcore\u2019s most important names, helping expand the NYHC sound toward new generations and different parts of the world, particularly Latin America, where the band has maintained a massive and loyal following for decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mexico has especially become one of the group\u2019s strongest territories outside the United States. Every visit by the band tends to transform into a chaotic celebration of stage dives, circle pits and direct interaction between the band and the crowd, particularly within the country\u2019s underground hardcore scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beyond their historical importance inside hardcore itself, MADBALL also directly influenced multiple generations of bands connected to metalcore, beatdown hardcore and crossover thrash. Their sonic aggression and street authenticity remain essential elements within modern hardcore culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
