{"id":64027,"date":"2026-04-09T11:26:48","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T17:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/summainferno.com\/?p=64027"},"modified":"2026-04-09T11:30:38","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T17:30:38","slug":"khemmis-anuncia-su-quinto-album-homonimo-y-estrena-invocation-of-the-dreamer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/summainferno.com\/en\/khemmis-anuncia-su-quinto-album-homonimo-y-estrena-invocation-of-the-dreamer\/","title":{"rendered":"Khemmis announce self-titled album Khemmis and release \u201cInvocation of the Dreamer\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\" translation-block\">Khemmis have announced their fifth studio album, Khemmis, set for release on June 12, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records, marking their first full-length since Deceiver (2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The album features eight tracks and presents a more direct and energetic approach while maintaining the band\u2019s core sound rooted in doom and melodic heavy metal. Artwork was created by Christopher Remmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Guitarist and vocalist Ben Hutcherson described the record as a shift in intent:\n\u201cWe wanted a more immediate and energetic album that still reflects who we are, but also celebrates the joy of creating heavy music\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The band has also released the lead single \u201cInvocation of the Dreamer\u201d, accompanied by a video directed by Frank Guerra. Hutcherson noted the track\u2019s impact made it the obvious choice to introduce the album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khemmis will support the release with live performances, including a show with Acid Bath, followed by a headlining tour with Necrofier and Wretched, and additional dates with Monolord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The album is currently available for pre-order, including a deluxe
