The alternative project Puscifer have taken another bold step in their multimedia evolution with the release of their first comic book series, \u201cTales From The Pusciverse.\u201d The launch represents a natural expansion of the band\u2019s long-standing narrative world, built across music, visuals and performance art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Issue #1 centers on Bellendia Black, a character first introduced in the \u201cPendulum\u201d music video. The story unfolds as a conversation between Bellendia and Maynard James Keenan, serving as both an origin point for the character and a gateway into a broader, interconnected storyline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Written by Keenan, the debut issue features artwork by Marlin Shoop and Andy Belanger, with lettering by Jack Morelli. Together, the creative team delivers a visual language steeped in satire, menace and philosophical undertones, mirroring the tension and dark humor that define Puscifer\u2019s musical identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keenan has described seeing Bellendia Black in print as a nostalgic return to the excitement of discovering comic characters as a child, now filtered through an adult, conceptual lens.
