Fusing pipe organ, guitars, percussion, strings, and a magnetic saxophone solo from Otis Sandsj\u00f6, the track captures the fragile boundary between madness and revelation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI wrote this song after a close friend experienced a psychosis,\u201d von Hausswolff explains. \u201cShe seemed to exist in another universe \u2014 unfiltered, unstoppable, and strangely brilliant. It made me realize how complex and vulnerable we all are, how many unresolved layers we carry within.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The song introduces her upcoming full-length album, ICONOCLASTS, her first with YEAR0001, featuring Ethel Cain, Abul Mogard, Iggy Pop, and Maria von Hausswolff.
