Este quinto \u00e1lbum no solo reafirma lo que los fan\u00e1ticos esperaban, sino que lo lleva a un nivel m\u00e1s oscuro, m\u00e1s teatral y m\u00e1s ambicioso. No es solo muerte y estridencia: hay composici\u00f3n art\u00edstica, atm\u00f3sferas calculadas y momentos de horror casi cinematogr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La apertura con \u201cPrison of Flesh\u201d es un anuncio: tambores demoledores y arreglos orquestales que construyen tensi\u00f3n antes de estallar en riffs intensos. Will Ramos domina la voz con guturales agresivos, gritos altos y transiciones extremas, y ya desde aqu\u00ed queda claro que el \u00e1lbum no ceder\u00e1 en intensidad. Cada composici\u00f3n parece pensada para sacudir, para desafiar tanto al oyente como al g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A medida que avanzan pistas como \u201cOblivion\u201d, \u201cIn Darkness\u201d y \u201cUnbreakable\u201d, la sinfon\u00eda se expande. Coros de voces profundas, sintetizadores que se mezclan con cuerdas, pasajes pre\u00f1ados de disonancia que generan tanto belleza perturbadora como choque brutal. Esa variedad es esencial para que los pasajes m\u00e1s extremos no se sientan saturados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n hay piezas que se destacan por su capacidad de emocionar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del estruendo. \u201cDeath Can Take Me\u201d combina agresividad con dramatismo coral, \u201cA Nameless Hymn\u201d tiene momentos de introspecci\u00f3n que retienen algo de luz m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la oscuridad, y el cierre con \u201cForevermore\u201d es una suite final que parece un ep\u00edlogo extenso y contundente, un viaje por la sombra interna que el \u00e1lbum plantea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En lo personal, siento que este disco representa el punto de madurez tonal para Lorna Shore. No han abandonado lo que los hizo destacar, pero s\u00ed han afinado cada elemento: composici\u00f3n, producci\u00f3n, narrativa sonora. Hay riesgo, s\u00ed, especialmente en la duraci\u00f3n de algunos tracks y en la teatralidad excesiva, que podr\u00eda no funcionar para todos.
