The Grammy-winning musician has composed an original score for this year\u2019s haunted house \u201cScarecrow,\u201d marking his seventh consecutive collaboration with the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The house, simply titled Scarecrow, immerses guests in a chilling narrative where Mother Nature seeks vengeance through vengeful scarecrows\u2014mute guardians of doom that punish those who trespass. The experience will be heightened by SLASH\u2019s cinematic soundtrack, written specifically for the attraction as if scoring a feature film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">In conjunction with the event, Universal will release SLASH: Music of Universal Studios Hollywood \u2013 Halloween Horror Nights, Volume 2, a vinyl-exclusive album featuring original tracks SLASH has composed over the past six years for previous haunted houses. The album includes scores for classic Universal Monsters attractions such as Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Wolfman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">SLASH's presence at the event goes even further with the introduction of the SLASH Bar, located in the Jurassic Cove area of the park. Themed drinks named after his music\u2014such as \u201cThe Danse of the Dead\u201d and \u201cBeautiful Dangerous\u201d\u2014will be available, along with SLASH\u2019s favorite food selections like Thai Beef Tacos and a top hat-shaped cake. A stilt-walking scare actor portraying SLASH will roam the area, complete with signature curls and hat, adding a theatrical twist to the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Speaking about the project, SLASH shared:\n\"As a longtime fan of Halloween Horror Nights, it has been incredibly rewarding to not only experience the event as a guest but to partner with Universal Studios Hollywood year after year to create original music that enhances the haunted house stories. Being featured so prominently this year is truly humbling, and I can't wait for guests to step into the terror with me.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">John Murdy, Creative Director of Halloween Horror Nights, added:\n\u201cSLASH has been a vital creative collaborator, elevating our haunted houses with his unmistakable sound. It was only natural to evolve this into a broader interactive experience inspired by his iconic style.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halloween Horror Nights 2025 will run on select nights through November 2.
