Mental disorders have existed, too. In the last 15 years, we\u2019ve seen a generation that goes into school and kills other students. I\u2019m not romanticizing or defending it. I\u2019m just saying, \u2018Children are on a fucking killing spree.\u2019 That\u2019s what I see in front of me. And I don\u2019t just mean murder. You\u2019ll see a lady being beaten up on the subway, and the people around her aren\u2019t even helping her; they\u2019re filming her with their iPhones. We had automatic weapons 50 years ago, and nobody did this. I blame the mentality. Now we have such a distant and insensitive generation. They\u2019re totally unfeeling and unemotional. There\u2019s no respect for life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Over the past few years, Malakian meticulously assembled what would become Addicted to the Violence.
