Finnish band The Rasmus<\/strong>have released a new single called \u2018Rest In Pieces<\/strong>\u2018, via Better Noise Music<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt all started very organically. The story behind this song is that I was betrayed by a friend. I was sad and angry at the same time. I wanted to channel my frustration into music and create what I call a revenge song,\u201d says Lauri Yl\u00f6nen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s usually the best thing any artist or creator can do in that situation,\u201d he continues. \u201cYou take the emotion and turn it into something powerful. There\u2019s a drive that comes up and you find the strength to capture it in the form of music to make art. It may seem negative at first, but I wanted this song to also be empowering for anyone who heard it. There\u2019s something uplifting about it. I would say \u2018Rest In Pieces\u2019 is very positive amongst all the intensity.\u201ds<\/p>\n\n\n\n
