While in previous years the festival has been held amidst the Tetons, the 2025 edition will move to Red Eagle Campground in the Blackfeet Nation in northwestern Montana. In partnership with the Blackfeet Nation community, <strong>Fire in the Mountains 2025<\/strong> will be an alcohol-free event. This decision was made in respect of the hosts\u2019 wishes and is one the festival aligns with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">\u201cWardruna is honored to participate in this one-of-a-kind multicultural gathering on the sacred tribal lands of the Blackfoot Nation,\u201d shares <strong>Wardruna<\/strong>\u2019s Einar Selvik. \u201cFire In The Mountains is a unique festival, to begin with. Its staunch focus on the importance of connection to the land and culture, as well as personal growth as human beings, is something that resonates greatly with Wardruna\u2019s work. The festival\u2019s newly formed alliance with the Blackfoot Nation further increases its potential significance and depth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For us, this will be much more than a concert. It will be an opportunity to learn and share knowledge. An opportunity to constructively support indigenous needs. An opportunity to be part of an encounter that truly seeks to leave positive and lasting footprints for the host land, its people, as well as for the audience and the artists.
