Lamb of God<\/strong>'s iconic album, 'Ashes of the Wake'<\/strong><\/em>, turns 20 this August and to commemorate its release, the band will present a deluxe edition that includes new mixes from HEALTH, Justin K Broadrick (Godflesh\/Jesu), Kublai Khan TX and Malevolence, as well as demo and live versions of the album's classic songs. You can find it starting August 30 through Epic Records and Legacy Recordings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited to see \u2018Another Nail For Your Coffin\u2019 reborn! \u201cThis has always been a really cool and unique song in the Lamb of God catalogue, but it's been overlooked because it was a bonus track,\u201d says Mark Morton of the song that was originally a bonus track available exclusively on the Japanese version. of Ashes of the Wake, which was followed by a worldwide release on the album's 15th anniversary edition. \u201cMatt and Alex absolutely spit flames in this new and updated version and gave it a fierce modern energy. I'm glad to see this song shine after all this time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Randy Blythe adds: \u201cI'm not a big fan of re-recording our existing material; the old songs are a snapshot of where we were as a band at the time, for better or worse. But when the idea of \u200b\u200bhaving a guest vocalist come back to do my parts on 'Another Nail For Your Coffin', I was all for it, especially if we could get two great younger singers to give the song a fresh take. Anyone who has seen Malevolence and Kublai Khan TX knows that Alex and Matt are great; \u201cIt\u2019s an honor to have these guys give new life to the song 20 years after we first recorded it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
