{"id":59021,"date":"2024-06-04T13:48:41","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T19:48:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/summainferno.com\/?p=59021"},"modified":"2024-06-04T13:48:43","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T19:48:43","slug":"eivor-estrena-sencillo-upp-ur-oskuni-rise-from-the-ashes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/summainferno.com\/en\/eivor-estrena-sencillo-upp-ur-oskuni-rise-from-the-ashes\/","title":{"rendered":"Eiv\u00f8r releases single, 'Upp \u00dar \u00d8skuni \/ Rise From the Ashes'"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Eiv\u00f8r<\/strong> pays tribute to the women who have been part of his life and approaches metal with his new single, <em>'Upp \u00dar \u00d8skuni \/ Rise From the Ashes'<\/em>, new track promotional of his album '<strong><em>ENN<\/em><\/strong>' that will be released on June 14 via Season of Mist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">\u201cWhen I was writing 'Upp \u00dar \u00d8skuni \/ Rise From the Ashes', I imagined a coven of witches, past and present, singing to each other across the chasms of time,\u201d he says. Eiv\u00f8r<\/strong>. That mental image will be forever etched in the song's official video, which you can watch below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">\u201cThis video was like a homecoming in many ways,\u201d he continues. \u201cI had a strong need to capture the spirit of \u2018<em>Upp \u00dar \u00d8skuni \/ Rise From the Ashes\u2019<\/em>\u2018 and for that we needed to film in the Faroe Islands. Katrin Joensen N\u00e6ss was the perfect choice as director, as she and I shared the same aesthetic vision. We were joined by an amazing team of Faroese female artists who I also admire, art director Jenn\u00fd Kragesteen, costume designer Maibritt Marjunard\u00f3ttir and the rest of these wonderful women brought their special magic to this video.
