Es dif\u00edcil definirlos, su m\u00fasica combina caracter\u00edstica de chanson, \u00f3pera y m\u00fasica gitana, para muchos, son un tr\u00edo de rock experimental o mezcla de vodevil y cabaret. Con sede en Londres, el grupo comenz\u00f3 sus juergas en la s\u00f3rdida vida del eterno m\u00fasico callejero en 1989, cuando el cantante Martyn Jacques coloc\u00f3 un anuncio para un baterista y bajista. Al d\u00eda de hoy han recibido importantes reconocimientos como el Oliver Award en 2002, el Shockhead Peter en dos ocasiones, y el Grammy en 2003 con la maravillosa producci\u00f3n The Gory End, en la que trabajaron junto con Kronos Quartet s\u00f3lo por mencionar algunos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Tiger Lillies<\/strong> is presented in the <strong>Circo Volador de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico<\/strong> este 10 de noviembre a las 20.30 horas y en el teatro <strong>Manuel Doblado <\/strong>de Le\u00f3n, Guanajuato el 12 de noviembre a las 19 horas, como parte de Festival
