Despu\u00e9s de completar nuestra primera gira, me di cuenta que m\u00e1s VUUR, significaba m\u00e1s riesgo econ\u00f3mico para mi. Para empeorar las cosas, mi matrimonio de tantos a\u00f1os se vio envuelto en la tormenta. Cuando hube escrito suficientes canciones, le ped\u00ed a mi amigo y productor, Gijs Coolen, que me ayudara a terminar el \u00e1lbum. A lo largo de la finalizaci\u00f3n del \u00e1lbum, mis historias de canciones ac\u00fasticas se fusionaron con una alquimia de cuerdas, cuernos y percusi\u00f3n.
