The video is the work of the direct <strong>Rod Scobie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Esta canci\u00f3n marc\u00f3 la pauta para todo el disco; de forma conceptual, l\u00edrica y musicalmente, todo comenz\u00f3 aqu\u00ed. Andy apareci\u00f3 con el riff de apertura cuando est\u00e1bamos escribiendo &#8216;Apex&#8217;, pero supe de inmediato que no pertenec\u00eda a ese disco&#8221;.<\/em> says the singer, <strong>Brittney Slayes<\/strong>.  <em>&#8220;Cuando finalmente comenzamos a escribir &#8216;Abyss&#8217; en 2019, esta fue la primera canci\u00f3n que compusimos y fue la primera canci\u00f3n que escuch\u00e9 cuando se termin\u00f3 de grabar el disco. Slayes explains about the concept:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cOur protagonist, The Immortal, wakes up again at the beginning of our story, but this time he is in an unknown place: a ship in deep space. He wanders alone for a time, reflecting on his misdeeds, searching for his new teacher. Finally, he finds him and discovers that he is the grandson of The Matriarch, our antagonist.
