Tambi\u00e9n es el primero con la ausencia de <strong>Tom Schmitz<\/strong>, quien fue el amo de los teclados desde el inicio de la banda hasta el a\u00f1o 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El disco abre muy bien con &#8220;<em>A Requiem For Tomorrow&#8221;<\/em>, en la que una entrada con sonidos sacros detona un <em>track<\/em> absolutamente del estilo de la vieja escuela de <strong>Mushroomhead<\/strong>. &#8220;<em>Madness Within<\/em>&#8221; tiene un sonido oscuro pero burlesque mucho m\u00e1s cercano a lo que hac\u00eda <strong>Marilyn Manson<\/strong> en los tiempos cumbre de su carrera, con un coro pegajoso y para cantar en vivo una y otra vez. De nuevo<strong> Laponza<\/strong> tiene un gran protagonismo en este \u00faltimo tema y la alternancia con la voz de <strong>J Mann<\/strong> y el nuevo cantante <strong>Steve Rauckhorst<\/strong> aunado al sonido m\u00e1s comercial de la canci\u00f3n me hace indudablemente compararlo con lo que hacen bandas como <strong>Lacuna Coil<\/strong>: habr\u00e1 que ver como toman los fans de la banda esta evoluci\u00f3n. Retorcida y enferma es tambi\u00e9n &#8220;<em>I Am The One<\/em>&#8220;, pero esta por la majestuosa combinaci\u00f3n de ritmos que de verdad parecen el <em>soundtrack<\/em> de un viaje de pesadilla en tu cerebro: otro gran acierto en este \u00e1lbum sin duda. &#8220;<strong>The Flood<\/strong>&#8221; a continuaci\u00f3n presenta un sonido mucho m\u00e1s progresivo y digerible que rompe el ritmo del disco, pero quienes conocemos la carrera de <strong>Mushroomhead <\/strong>sabemos que estos <em>breaks<\/em> mel\u00f3dicos sublimados suelen ser el sello de la casa, y este bache aletargado se extiende incluso al siguiente tema &#8220;<em>Where The End Begins<\/em>&#8220;, que con sus siete minutos de duraci\u00f3n la verdad es que se hace desesperante y lo que quieres es un poco m\u00e1s de potencia. Como suele pasar con las canciones de bonus, hay algunas joyas que uno se pregunta porqu\u00e9 no formaron parte del disco en su esqueleto principal, tal es el ejemplo sin duda de &#8220;<em>Sound Of Destruction<\/em>&#8221; y <em>&#8220;Another Ghost&#8221;<\/em> que nos regalan un golpe de nostalgia a los primeros trabajos de la banda. De nuevo, los coros sacros de &#8220;<em>Lacrimosa<\/em>&#8221; son los encargados de ahora si, dar el cierre de tel\u00f3n a esta placa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En resumen podr\u00edamos decir que aunque estamos frente a un t\u00edpico \u00e1lbum de <strong>Mushroomhead,<\/strong> hay notorias diferencias con sus trabajos anteriores particularmente en la inclusi\u00f3n de sonidos m\u00e1s enfocados al metal g\u00f3tico dejando su vena industrial mucho m\u00e1s de lado. <strong>Jeffrey Nothing<\/strong> si se extra\u00f1a pues aun y cuando era el portador de las voces m\u00e1s limpias del grupo su tono era mucho m\u00e1s enfermo y demencial, mientras que la incursi\u00f3n de la voz femenina de <strong>Jackie Laponza<\/strong> le dio un toque mucho m\u00e1s mel\u00f3dico al grupo. Tal vez este nuevo giro no le agrade del todo a muchos fans, pero tambi\u00e9n es cierto que <strong>Mushroomhead<\/strong> es una banda caracterizada por hacer lo que le viene en gana al experimentar con sus sonidos.
