{"id":33163,"date":"2020-04-17T12:48:24","date_gmt":"2020-04-17T18:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/summainferno.com\/?p=33163"},"modified":"2020-04-17T12:48:26","modified_gmt":"2020-04-17T18:48:26","slug":"black-orchid-empire-lanza-single-death-from-above","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/summainferno.com\/en\/black-orchid-empire-lanza-single-death-from-above\/","title":{"rendered":"Black Orchid Empire lanza single &#8216;Death From Above&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Los brit\u00e1nicos de <strong>Black Orchid Empire<\/strong>, lanzaron su tercer sencillo<em> &#8216;Death From Above<\/em>&#8216;, proveniente de su \u00e1lbum <em>&#8216;Semaphore&#8217;<\/em> que ser\u00e1 lanzado el 12 de junio de 2020 a trav\u00e9s de<strong> Long Branch Records.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este nuevo \u00e1lbum incursionan a un estilo m\u00e1s progresivo y Paul Visser, guitarrista y cantante de la banda mencion\u00f3 lo siguiente sobre este sencillo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> \u201cEsta es una de las canciones m\u00e1s pesadas de Semaphore, y presenta un riff con el que hemos estado tocando desde la gira de Yugen. Estamos experimentando en este disco para superar nuestros l\u00edmites tanto en t\u00e9rminos de melod\u00eda como de tecnicismo, y Death From Above es un ejemplo de una de las canciones m\u00e1s progresivas influenciadas por el metal en el \u00e1lbum. L\u00edricamente, est\u00e1 inspirado en el incre\u00edble trabajo de Richard Morgan y su serie Takeshi Kovacs, es uno de mis escritores favoritos de ciencia ficci\u00f3n. La canci\u00f3n trata sobre los marcianos alados y rapaces que aparecen en sus libros (y m\u00e1s recientemente sobre Altered Carbon en Netflix), y la tecnolog\u00eda que dejaron atr\u00e1s. Especialmente me encanta la secci\u00f3n central, es muy divertido cantar sobre ese paisaje de ensue\u00f1o y ambiente. Luego Dave y Billy se enganchan con su ritmo sincopado y es un momento incre\u00edble.
