Una pieza que suena al m\u00e1s puro estilo HIM, mezclando su vieja y nueva escuela, con coros r\u00edtmicos, una bater\u00eda consistente y una l\u00edrica que, sin duda, viene de la vena de Valo. Salute the Sanguine cierra entre susurros y una r\u00edtmica en descenso que se apaga para dar paso a &#8220;Run Away From the Sun&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Run Away From the Sun&#8221; pareciera una pieza perdida del Screamworks, uno de los discos de HIM m\u00e1s ricos en letras, m\u00e1s suaves y menos apreciados; con esta canci\u00f3n, VV hace alarde de su habilidad de contar historias en forma de baladas, con las palabras m\u00e1s simples de amor, dolor, melancol\u00eda y redenci\u00f3n, todo con esa clase de elegancia finlandesa que lo dibuja. Run Away from the Sun se arriesga en su cl\u00edmax con un toque de synth pop que se rompe de pronto con los rasgueos caracter\u00edsticos de la m\u00fasica HIMezca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El EP cierra de manera magistral con &#8220;Saturnine Saturnalia&#8221;, una pieza que nos lleva m\u00e1s hacia la era de Venus Doom; VV echa mano aqu\u00ed de su habilidad vocal, yendo de graves a altos, pasando por ecos, latidos, coros y una base musical en la que se adivina el bajo de su compa\u00f1ero de HIM: MIkko Paananen. El remate de esta canci\u00f3n es lo m\u00e1s metal que vas a encontrar en este EP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con Gothica Fennica Vol. 1, Ville Valo explora sus capacidades de compositor llev\u00e1ndonos a paisajes nost\u00e1lgicos, con historias po\u00e9ticas, melodiosas, brillantemente oscuras.
