The great dream of practically anyone is to be able to live on what they love. In the case of musicians, this is not different and therefore, when starting a band they look for ways to reach more people and make their project recognized, viable and above all, economically profitable. Money moves the world, baby<\/em>. With money you can allow yourself to leave any other distraction behind and focus exclusively on creating, developing and enhancing your art without worrying if you will have a plate of hot food on your table tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lamentablemente, los “metaleros” son una de las criaturas m\u00e1s lloronas que existen. Llora por todo y todo les arde, nada les parece y de todo se quejan. Pero entre todas las cosas por las que hacen berrinche una muy especial es que su banda favorita – o la que intenta denostar – “se volvi\u00f3 muy comercial”. O sea, para ellos, el hecho de que una banda tenga un \u00e9xito dentro del mercado, es alguna especie de pecado que le priva de cualquier clase de respeto e incluso le quita la mayor parte -o todo, depende del individuo en cuesti\u00f3n, del talento y potencial que podr\u00eda llegar a tener.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No hay que olvidar que la m\u00fasica, incluyendo al rock y al metal, forma parte de algo llamado “industria del entretenimiento” que mueven miles de millones de d\u00f3lares anualmente y es el sustento y forma de vida de millones de personas en todo el planeta incluyendo por supuesto a esos m\u00fasicos que tanto admiras, no importa s\u00ed son extremadamente famosos o son artistas de nicho conocidos solo por un pu\u00f1ado de personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hay que preguntarnos, \u00bfde qu\u00e9 y de quien vive y como subsiste esa “industria del entretenimiento”? La respuesta es l\u00f3gica. La industria vive de aquellas bandas y artistas que le generan dinero, as\u00ed de simple. Metallica<\/strong>, Iron maiden<\/strong>, Rammstein<\/strong>, Black Sabbath<\/strong>, AC DC<\/strong>, U2 and a not so long list are the ones that generate enough tickets for everything to move and remain more or less stable. It is because of these gigantic gangs that record labels, media, brands, streaming services, promoters and much more can have the resources to stay active and be able to support the smallest cogs in the machinery. Without them, there would be no way to move things, thank them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even in terms of trends and initial stages for someone to like a certain musical genre they have a fundamental role. I assure you that whoever is reading this began to listen to rock with Panther<\/strong>, Korn<\/strong>, Linkin Park<\/strong> or Limp Bizkit<\/strong>. Or are you going to tell me that since you were a little boy you listened to Darkthrone<\/strong>, Burzum<\/strong>, Nargaroth <\/strong>or Death<\/strong>? Let's go! Let go of your ridiculous pose and accept things as they are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
