The band has been forced to postpone the full tour they had planned on the mainland because singer James Hetfield has relapsed into addictions and entered rehab. This was reported through their social networks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Una nota de Lars, Kirk y Rob:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We regret to inform our fans and friends that we must postpone our next tour of Australia and New Zealand.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>James has been struggling with addictions at various intervals for many years. Now, unfortunately, she had to re-enter a treatment program to work on her recovery again.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We intend to reach their lands as soon as possible. We will let you know as soon as possible when this will be possible. Once again, we are super grateful to have so many of you, especially our most loyal fans. We appreciate your understanding and support of James and, as always, thank you for being part of our family: Metallica.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>All tickets purchased in Australia and New Zealand, including the VIP Experiences and Black Tickets, will be fully refunded.
