Como anunciamos el dia de ayer, Combichrist<\/strong> lanzar\u00e1 su nuevo \u00e1lbum llamado “We Love You”<\/a>, el cual significar\u00e1 una cambio total en el Combichrist que todos conocemos.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 significa esto para el futuro de la banda?<\/strong> Su vocalista y hombre base, Andy LaPlegua nos los platica en una breve charla con SUMMA Inferno.<\/p>\n

Bueno, Combichrist est\u00e1 de vuelta… Pero, \u00bfEs el mismo Combichrist que todos conocemos?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Combichrist siempre ha sido Combichrist y siempre ser\u00e1 Combichrist.<\/p>\n

El nuevo \u00e1lbum “We Love You” se lanza en Marzo. \u00bfEs muy distinto? \u00bfPodremos reconocer a Combichrist en el? Su sonido, sus beats…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Es m\u00e1s DE TODO. M\u00e1s bajos, m\u00e1s beats, m\u00e1s de nuestro sonido y tambi\u00e9n m\u00e1s de todo lo dem\u00e1s. Es solamente el siguiente paso en la evoluci\u00f3n de Combichrist.<\/p>\n

T\u00fa perspectiva musical es ahora m\u00e1s amplia nunca, supongo. Desde que lanzaste Making Monsters, hiciste un experimento con “No Redemption”, e incluso tocaste junto a una orquesta en el Gothik Meets Klassik Festival. \u00bfEs “We Love You” la meta final de toda esta experimentaci\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No es la meta final, solo me dejo llevar hacia donde la m\u00fasica me lleve.
\nHay muchas bandas por ah\u00ed, pensando en sus Hits y pensando en copiar la f\u00f3rmula una y otra vez para mantenerse vivos como banda. Yo no pienso de esa forma. La m\u00fasica es mi vida y es lo que me gu\u00eda, yo no la guio a ella.<\/p>\n

El primer single “From my cold Dead Hands” saldr\u00e1 pronto. \u00bfEs una especie de glorificaci\u00f3n hacia las armas y su poder? Estados Unidos est\u00e1 en medio debate sobre el control de armas…<\/strong><\/p>\n

No, no es una canci\u00f3n sobre glorificaci\u00f3n. Es una canci\u00f3n sobre las libertades personas y un arma es una fracci\u00f3n de esa libertad.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 tal un nuevo video musical?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tal vez. Ya veremos que es lo que estamos cocinando.<\/p>\n

\u00bfSabes? Palabras como “Unicornios” y “Satan” no se ven juntos en un mismo tracklist todos los d\u00edas…<\/strong><\/p>\n

[Risas] Bueno. Es solo otro d\u00eda en el mundo de Combichrist [Risas]<\/p>\n

Tal vez podamos comparar a Combichrist con bandas como Nine Inch Nails, en el aspecto de que s\u00f3lo Andy es el miembro permanente, rodeado de un constante cambio en la alineaci\u00f3n. \u00bfEsto cambiar\u00e1 en esta nueva “era” de Combichrist?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No, sigo siendo s\u00f3lo yo en el estudio de grabaci\u00f3n y no tengo planes para cambiar eso. Pero bueno, qui\u00e9n sabe qu\u00e9 har\u00e9 despu\u00e9s…<\/p>\n

Tu experiencia con Rammstein, \u00bfinfluy\u00f3 musicalmente en el nuevo sonido de Combichrist?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hmm. No m\u00e1s de lo que lo hizo cualquier otra cosa. Todo lo que haces en la vida influye en ti.<\/p>\n

Well, Combichrist is back… But, is the same Combichrist we know?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It always was Combichrist, and it always will be Combichrist.<\/p>\n

– The new album, “We love You” will be out in March. Is so different? Will we recognize Combichrist within it?Your sound, your beats…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its more of EVERYTHING. More of the bass, more of the beats, more of our sound, but also more of everything else. Its just the next step in the Combichrist evolution.<\/p>\n

– Your music perspective is wider than ever, I guess. After Making Monsters, you released an experiment with “No redemption” and even you played with and Orchestra in Gothik Meets Klassik Fest. Is “We Love You” the final goal in all these experimentation?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No final goal, I just go where the music takes me.
\nToo many bands are thinking about their “hits” and try to copy those over and over again to stay alive as a band. I dont think that way. Music is my life, and it guides me, I dont guide it.<\/p>\n

– Your first single is “From my cold dead hands” and will be released soon. Is kind of a Gun and their power glorification? US is in the middle of debate about gun control.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its not a song about glorification. Its a song about personal freedom. The gun is just a fraction of that freedom<\/p>\n

– Maybe another music video soon?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe. We will see what we have cooking.<\/p>\n

– Words like “Unicorns” and “Satan” don’t be seen in the same tracklist everyday..<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Haha, it’s another day in Combichrist haha…<\/p>\n

– Maybe we can compare Combichrist with bands like Nine Inch Nails, with only Andy as a permanent member and a lot of line up changes… Will this change in this new “era”?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its still just me in the studio, and I have no plans on changing that, but who knows what I’ll do next?<\/p>\n

– Your experience with Rammstein influenced Combichrist new music sound?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hmmm, not more than anything else. Everything you do in life will influence you somehow<\/p>\n

– What can we expect about your new live performance?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just as powerful as always!<\/p>\n

– Some months ago, you were in Mexico for an Old School Show and you will be back in March for Hell and Heaven.\u00a0Will you play some of the new material?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will play a LOT of new material.<\/p>\n
